Alex Remily, MS, MBA, PMP 

Founder & Managing Director

Alex has more than twenty years of experience spanning military service and federal government information technology consulting.  Alex has experience across the spectrum of the system development life-cycle and information technology operations. He has overseen requirements and testing, provided system documentation, developed software, managed teams, and supervised IT operations in production, development and testing environments. Throughout Alex’s career in the federal defense information technology space, he continued his service in the Marine Corps, including deployments to Iraq as a platoon commander and a company commander in a light armored reconnaissance battalion. Alex is now retired from the Marine Corps after twenty years of combined service in the active and reserve components.

Alex earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Oregon State University, his Master of Business Administration from the George Washington University, and most recently a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Graduate Certificate in Information Assurance and Computer Security, also from the George Washington University. Alex is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional.

Tom Raby, CPA, CIA, CRMA, CFE, MBA 

Co-Founder & Principal

Tom Raby has over 25 years of progressive leadership experience in consulting and corporate environments serving both internal and external clients in the regulated mortgage and financial industries. Tom is dedicated to advising those in leadership and front line business positions while earning the trust and respect of all three lines of defense from a risk management perspective. Tom maintains solid relationships with current and former clients and enjoys mentoring staff/colleagues to help them fulfill their maximum potential.


Tom is currently a Co-Founder and Principal at Jadan Group where he focuses on business development, project execution and advising Financial Services clients. Tom was a Director at Promontory Financial Group where he advised Top-Tier regulated financial clients with a variety of operational and regulatory risk challenges. At Promontory, Tom’s primary areas of focus included managing teams and projects associated with “3 Lines of Defense” rationalization and implementation, risk management, internal audit, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, financial and other reporting. Before Promontory, Tom was a Senior Director at Freddie Mac where he managed certain enterprise-wide regulatory reporting and compliance functions. In this role, Tom managed a team that measured and monitored progress toward critical affordable housing mandates and was responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of controls that supported certification of results to Regulator and other governmental bodies.


Additionally, Tom brings his consulting and leadership experiences from KPMG, BearingPoint and RiskSpan where he led internal and external teams that delivered a wide range of consulting engagements covering business development, business strategy, operational risk, financial reporting and controls, compliance and effectiveness/efficiency process redesign.


Tom earned his BS in Finance from Virginia Tech and his MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Tom is licensed in Virginia as a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor with additional Certification in Risk Management Assurance and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
